Four Ways Of Processing Plastic Bottle

Plastic bottle is widespread loved by the customers and dealers because of its light weight, portability and its resistance to falling, acid and alkaline. Plastic bottle has already become one of the important parts of our daily life. Beverage, food, pickles, honey have been contained by the plastic bottle industry, even farmers, animals including medical packaging has also been gradually monopolized by the plastic bottle. However, I wonder if people know how plastic bottles are made.

Let's have a look at the four ways of processing plastic bottle:

1.compression modeling. Compression molding is also known as compression moulding in the industry, used for phenolic resin, unsaturated polyester resin,; thermosetting plastic molding is the first step of plastic bottle processing technology.

 2. Plastic extrusion.Plastic extrusion, also known as extrusion molding, is using the extrusion machine to heat the resin through the mold, extrusion required shaping of the product method.

It has the advantages of extruding products of various shapes, high production efficiency, automation and continuous production.

The disadvantage is that thermosetting plastics can not be widely used in this process since the size of products are prone to deviation.

3.Injection molding. Injection molding is a method of using injection molding machine to inject thermoplastic melt into the mold under high pressure for cooling and curing.
The advantages of injection molding are fast production speed, high efficiency, the operation can be automated ; it can shape complex parts, especially suitable for mass production. The Disadvantage is the high cost of equipment and mold, not to mention that the injection molding machine is not easy to clean.

 4. Blow molding.Blow molding is also called hollow blow molding. It is a method to make the hot resin mold billet closed in the mold into hollow products by means of the pressure of compressed air.

This Blowing consists of two methods: blowing plastic film and blowing hollow products. Blow molding is mainly used for the production of film products, all kinds of bottles, barrels, POTS and so on.
