Advantages of HDPE Bottles

High Density Polyethylene ("HDPE"), also known as low-pressure polyethylene, is translucent with high crystallinity and a certain degree of non-polar surface. PE has excellent resistance to most domestic and industrial chemicals.


HDPE is a non-polar thermoplastic resin with high crystallinity. The high-density polyethylene bottle (HDPE bottle) made with it has good heat resistance and cold resistance. It has good chemical stability, high rigidity and toughness, and good mechanical strength. Dielectric properties and environmental stress cracking resistance are also good. Hardness, tensile strength and creep properties are better than low-density polyethylene, abrasion resistance, electrical insulation, toughness and cold resistance are all better. Because of its good chemical stability, it is insoluble in any organic solvents at room temperature and is resistant to corrosion by acids, alkalis and various salts.


HDPE is the fastest growing part of the plastic material warehouse recycling market. This is mainly due to its easy reprocessing, minimal degradation characteristics and its large number of applications for packaging purposes. The main recycling is to reprocess 25% of recycled materials, such as post-consumer recyclables (PCR), with pure HDPE to make bottles that are not in contact with food.


The external shapes of high-density polyethylene bottles (HDPE bottles) are round, square, oval and so on. Round bottles have the largest application volume, especially those with a capacity of 15ml to 200ml. They are characterized by uniform wall thickness, high ability to absorb external impact energy, and low production costs, but they are stored or transported. The utilization rate of the effective area is low. The square bottle has a high utilization rate of effective storage area and good stability, but the bottle swelling and deformation is more likely to occur. Oval bottles are the least used in pharmaceutical packaging, while cosmetic packaging is used more. Due to the large amount of high-density polyethylene bottles, the appearance is beautiful. It is suitable for the packaging of solid dosage forms of medicines, and its bottle exterior design is distinctive.
